Users over the age of 30 have a shallower understanding of AI, and the overall awareness of adolescents and the general public is consistent.The higher the education, the better the understanding of AI, the AI ​​theory and technical difficulty determine the advantage of the highly educated people in this field.There is little difference in AI awareness among people in different regions, and the Internet makes information globally indistinguishable.For all occupational groups, business managers and professionals (doctors/lawyers/journalists/teachers, etc.) have a deeper understanding of AI; among the student groups, college students have a better understanding of AI, and there is little difference between middle school students and the overall; blue-collar usersThe understanding of AI is the shallowest.Part.3 The public’s current status of AI products: Feel the convenience of life in the AI+ era. A large number of software and hardware products using AI technology or AI gimmicks appear in people’s lives.We assess the impact of AI products on life by osmosis (whether the user has experienced or purchased) and convenience (whether it is convenient for life).The software with high penetration rate of AI software products is intelligent voice assistant and personalized content recommendation, and users very much recognize that such software brings convenience to life.This shows that the intelligent voice assistant appears as an avatar in a piece of software or hardware and has been accepted and recognized by the public.The software will recommend the content that I like to watch has entered the user perception.AI repairs old photos, such as Hong Kong and Taiwan star 18-year-old photos, and AI face change, such as the temptation to go home bgm ringing, these phenomena have caused heated discussion on social media, greatly popularizing AI to the public, bringing usersEntertainment experience.The AI ​​face-changing app ZAO is quite controversial because of the privacy policy. For this kind of entertainment-oriented app, the user has less tolerance for privacy.Relatively speaking, there are more users who choose smart customer service to bring inconvenience to life. This may be because sometimes smart customer service can’t solve the problem in time and bring bad experience to the user.AI hardware products intelligent monitoring, smart speakers, intelligent control and other smart home products have a high penetration rate, and more than 80% of the public believe that the positive impact of smart hardware on life.Relatively speaking, the robot series has a low penetration in the public life, especially the family companion robot.At present, family companion robots mainly focus on children’s robots, taking into account educational attributes, but children’s voice interaction problems still need to be resolved.AI understands the situation affects the penetration of AI products. The deeper the AI ​​understands, the more AI hardware and software products you experience or purchase.Users are more willing to know about AI and products before they experience and purchase.Part.4 Volkswagen’s view on AI development: expectation and concern are based on the experience of AI and existing AI products. Does the public have confidence in the future development of AI?We understand public attitudes with emotional feelings and concerns.Emotional feelings The public feels more positive about AI development, mainly expecting (61%), curiosity (56%), less negative emotions, mainly worry (9%).In the Edelman 2019 AI survey, when it comes to the status quo of technology and the progress of artificial intelligence, American users are mostly curious (46%), and only 30% of ordinary people are excited and optimistic about AI.This result shows that the Chinese people are more positive about the development of AI than the American people.AI development concerns Although the public’s mood for AI development is more positive, but the news media is constantly spreading robots may replace human anxiety, data leakage and other negative news events frequently, these are constantly provoking the public.What users are most worried about is personal data and privacy exposure.Norton released the 2018 Norton LifeLock Cyber ​​Security Survey, which is more alert than ever to 85% of Chinese consumers. The more AI users know, the more AI products they experience or purchase.Breaking the cognitive circle and reducing the difficulty of AI cognition is conducive to improving users’ desire to purchase products.How to break the cognitive circle?In the marketing of AI products, more should be from the user’s point of view, do not need to introduce the complex algorithms and mechanisms behind AI, and focus on the help or benefits brought by the transfer of AI, so that ordinary people can easily understand and accept.2. Women need more opportunities from society. Women who enter AI have less knowledge of AI than men, and the Global Gender Gap Report for 2018 shows that 78% of global AI professionals in 2018 are men, and only 22% arefemale.The stereotype of gender in society makes women in the computer field less.Professor Li Feifei said in an interview that he helped create a summer camp to stimulate girls’ interest in artificial intelligence.They received as many as 200 applications, although only 24 were registered.This shows that women do not like AI, but only need more channels to enter.3.
